If you are interested in participating, the next step is to contact Dr. Stephanie Shire (1-541-326-2141 ; sshire@uoregon.edu) to confirm your family’s eligibility.
Families may be eligible if they:
live in the United States,
have a child between 2.0 and 6.0 years old who has autism or may have autism, and
have a caregiver who is comfortable participating in English.
Your child does not need to have a medical diagnosis of autism to participate. Eligibility may be based on caregiver concerns about autism, waiting for an autism evaluation, or receiving a positive autism screening result.

You will receive electronic gift cards for completion of the study assessments at four time points including when you start the study ($50.00), at week 6 ($50.00), at week 12 ($50.00). and at week 24 ($75.00).

Yes! Taking part in this research study is your decision. Your participation in this study is voluntary. You do not have to take part in this study, but if you do, you can stop at any time. You have the right to choose not to participate in any study activity or completely withdraw from continued participation at any point in this study without penalty or loss of benefits to which you are otherwise entitled. Your decision whether or not to participate will not affect your relationship with the researchers or the University of Oregon.
